New publications!A book about Géza Allaga, the founder of Hungarian-style dulcimer literature and education, was published by Morning Art Records under the title In the footsteps of cimbalom-playing ancestors.
Through the life of Géza Allaga, the book presents the dulcimer becoming Hungarian, the cimbalom culture of the 19th and early 20th centuries in Hungary, using contemporary documents and Géza Allaga's legacy.
The double CD with Géza Allaga's solo cimbalom compositions published simultaneously with the book, the music of which can be listened to and downloaded using the QR code and the internet website in the book. Thus, those who read this book can get acquainted with Géza Allaga's compositions through the musical examples, which are an important part of the dulcimer literature.
